The Traditional Hipped Awning has a three-sided frame and can be seen in cities and towns all over the world. The top and both slanted sides are covered in fabric/canvas or other material. Traditional Hipped Awnings appear triangular from the sides and as a sloped trapezoid from the front. This type of awning is commonly found over windows and doorways.
